Gun Goddess

I am really not sure what to make of all the media about guns. They seem to think that the 2nd amendment  is about  our right from the government to own a gun. Wrong, it is a right for us to keep our guns to protect us from the government.

I know that our schools are not teaching history like I was taught, it seems that as we become older they want to change history to make it fit today. We need to encourage people to read the words of our great leaders of the past, the brave men who gave us our rights and liberties.

Don't believe the media...read check all the sources, than make up your mind to what you will believe and stand for.

Slug Bug!!!

Slug Bug is a favorite game to play when we are in the car. My hubby who is usually driving, sees them before me. I know me who loves VW Bugs and he who doesn't. It is because I have my nose in a book. However, I saw this cute bug today while I was making a Walmart run.

I think Herbie would even blink his lights in her directions.

I am enjoying my Austen Summer! I have just finish reading book Pride and Prejudice and I am starting Mansfield Park. I am looking forward to spenind time with Fanny Price.
