Sense and Sensibilty Bicentenary Reading Challenge ~ Senes & Sensibility, 1995

This is one of my most favorite movies to watch. I believe that Emma Thompson did a wonderful job with the adaption of this Jane austen novel.

I can not read the printed words of Ms. Austen without seeing the characters from this 1995 film. The casting was perfect for the roles. I believe that Alan Rickman will forever be Colonel Brandon for me.

The story of the Dashwoods, Elinor, who is sensible and Marianne, who is full of passion for life find themsleves in a poistion doomed by no fortune as their father dies. They find themselves a new home and hope for a new life. We see them learn that sense and some sensibility must mix for their dreams to come true.

This is a must for all fans of Sense and Sensibliy to see.
